Severe flood warning in New York

 Heavy rains cause flooding in New York's Hudson Valley.

At least one person has died due to this.

"Threatening for life" - The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for southeastern New York.

New York State Police have closed State Route 9W and the Palisades Interstate Parkway.
Rockland County has issued an advisory for residents to stay indoors.
